Many of my patients are also athletes, first responders, and weekend warriors. Being wellness oriented typically does involve some form of exercise, physical fitness and/or strength. From your first responders to your typical desk job, people have a desire to feel good and exercise provides endorphins that make us feel good. Maybe it's the adrenaline rush, or the second wind, or being able to lift more weight than you could previously. We like goals. We like to succeed. Successes are even more satisfying when we have multiple failures along the way. Like they say, it's not about the destination, it's about the journey.
For Lindsey our pharmacist, it is the never ending return to racing and racing fast in the pool. It all started with a broken foot, leading her to Dr. Amy Brannon, DPT, and together they have gotten her back to speed through-2 shoulder surgeries, back surgery, double mastectomy with reconstruction, C-Section. As a top performer and national champion, Lindsey is a big proponent of physical therapy. She will help you find a great DPT no matter where you are in America.
